You practice in a dynamic and challenging environment. While keeping clinically current is imperative, it isn't enough. You must also acquire the skills necessary to navigate a professional liability minefield, manage a more effective and efficient practice, and master a maze of healthcare laws and regulations. So while the need to keep professionally current is obvious the question is when? American Educational Institute has provided the answer for over 26 years. Through October 2, 2009 you will have over 900 opportunities to get the Continuing education you want and the credits you need - away from the distractions and tumult of your practice. Far away. Like in Hawaii, Aspen, Aruba, Vail or any of 26 premier destination resorts.
Critical Continuing Dental Education - where you want to go and when you want to be there. That's been our hallmark since 1982. A distinction validated by over 100,000 registrations, and the fact that 99.3% of our students say that they'd recommend AEI to their colleagues.
Regardless of the dental seminar you attend, you'll receive in-depth instruction on important topics you're quite unlikely to find taught elsewhere. And you'll have the luxury of learning in a relaxed and beautiful environment with plenty of time left over to enjoy it.
Choose from two exceptional Continuing Dental Education courses
(offering a total of over 25 CDE topics):
The 2008-9 Medical-Dental-Legal Update is a unique, 20 hour survey of the intersection of medicine and law as well as targeted selection of clinical topics. In one course you will receive 20 hours of vital instruction from national experts, including 9 sessions on reducing your malpractice and regulatory exposure featuring instruction on asset protection, adverse event management and critical new Medicare anti-markup regulations coming into effect January, 2009. Other talks explore topics such as embezzlement in the healthcare office, Electronic Medical Records and cultural competency. And still others review "hot" clinical topics like the medical response to domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, HPV, depression complicated by pain, and the latest colon cancer screening guidelines. Remarkably, this is just a sampling.
Computers & the Internet in Medicine, Dentistry, & Law offers a hands-on opportunity to turn the latest information technology into invaluable practice tools. You will be assigned to your own Internet-connected Windows XP PC for the week and taught by exceptional instructors in small classes. By week's end you will: become acquainted with Windows Vista and Office 2007 and learn to search the Internet more effectively; capture and manipulate digital images; communicate with patients and colleagues via the latest presentation management software, Pod casting and even MP3; exploit the advantages of Portable Document Files (.pdf); and protect your PC and important data.
So you decide the when and the where, and we'll provide an educational experience you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. If you've never studied with us before this must all sound a bit unusual. It is.
